New Potain crane secures first North American sale

Equipment distributor Bronson Crane has bought the first Potain Hup 40-30 self-erecting tower crane to be sold in North America.

The deal was made last week at the Conexpo trade show in Las Vegas. Key staff members from Manitowoc presented the Salt Lake City-based company with a commemorative plaque and a limited edition, hand-painted hard hat to commemorate the occasion. An additional plaque was also made in honor of Bronson’s investment in the Potain brand - from 2014 to 2016, the company purchased more cranes than any other Potain distributor in the US.

The 4.4t Hup 40-30 is the second model in the new Hup range. The Hup 40-30 has a 131ft jib and 16 configurations, enabling it to be adapted for a range of applications.
