WSP joins team for Texas Bullet Train

WSP USA has joined the team for the Texas Bullet Train project, which will link Dallas and Houston.

It will be providing engineering support as the high-speed passenger rail project moves into its pre-construction phase.

Texas Central and its preferred design-build partners, Fluor Enterprises and the Lane Construction Corporation, together operating as 1st Bullet Builders, announced that WSP will focus on engineering, cost estimating and scheduling.

The multi-billion-dollar project is a 240-mile line that will connect North Texas and Houston in 90 minutes, with a midway stop in the Brazos Valley. The investor-owned project is not taking federal or state grants for its construction or operations.
