JCB appoints Louisiana-based engine distributor

Louisana-based M&L Engines has been appointed to extend sales coverage for the JCB engine range in the south and south-east of the US.

JCB Power Systems has appointed M&L Engines, which is based in Schriever, to provide sales and service support to OEM customers in Mississippi, Tennessee and Louisiana. M&L Engines has more than 50 years of experience selling major diesel engines brands and engine packages. JCB engines will augment the company’s portfolio of Tier 4 Final-compliant engines.

“The JCB engine is certainly becoming recognized here in the USA as an innovative solution in the off-highway sector,” said Ryan Marmande, owner and general manager of M&L Engines. “It is built to comply with the latest legislation and is tried and tested in JCB machines globally. There is excellent potential in the range for our customers and I was very keen to represent the brand.”

In addition to distributing engines and related products, M&L Engines designs and builds bespoke power units, marine and industrial generators, stationary and mobile pump packages, irrigation units and other products. These are all tailored to the requirements of the OEM; JCB’s Tier 4 Final engines will be integrated into the products to ensure full compliance with local legislation.
