Skanska wins Washington university contract

Skanska is to build a new building at a campus of Washington State University (WSU).

It has signed a US$52m contract to build the Plant Sciences Building at the WSU Pullman campus.

The contract involves the construction of an approximately 83,000 sq ft facility to carry out plant science research. The four-story building will house an open, modular wet-lab space; shared support functions; and office space for principal investigators, staff and research assistants. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2020.
